Version: unknown (using KDE 3.95.00 (KDE 4.0 Beta4)) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default A feature I used in KDE3 is to display not only the time but also the day of week and date information in the clock in kicker. In plasma the clock does not allow to display this. (Also, the display of the figures on the clock have a black bar horizontally in the middle. This might be some artistic gag to resemble some old hardware device, but it makes the time harder to read.)
"regression:" only makes it harder to read the title in the bug list (in fact, it chops off more words.. not good =)
I'd just like to clarify which clocks you're talking about here. the analog clock (the round one) doesn't have the ability to show the date, but the panel by default has the *digital* clock, which can show the date. as for the black bar, I assume that refers to the old look of the digital clock, which is gone and will probably end up as a separate clock widget for people who want to keep it. so... the actual bug appears to be simply the title of the bugreport
I meant digital clock - sorry.
It's added in the meantime, if you cannot find it in recent versions, please re-open.
