Version: 1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.8, Debian Package 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-2 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23 Hi, If I delete a message in a KMail disconnected IMAP folder, then quit before syncronizing with the IMAP server, KMail "forgets" that it was supposed to delete the message from the server and instead downloads it again. 1. delete message in a dIMAP folder. (do not synchronize with server) 2. quit kmail 3. start kmail 4. synchronize with IMAP server - observe that the deleted message (in 1) now reappears. This does not occur in kmail 1.9.7 (released with 3.5.7)
Hi, The kmail version is 1.9.7, not 1.9.8 . I checked whether Debian was misbundling the program, but the kdepim-3.5.8 source code archive also has kmail/kmversion.h:#define KMAIL_VERSION "1.9.7" in the kmail source code. So to be clear, the version of the program affected is kmail 1.9.7 from kdepim-3.5.8.tar.bz2 Thanks!
No, the version is 1.9.8. Unfortunately, we forgot to increase the version number before release...
This appears to be resolved with Kmail 1.9.9 (shipped with KDE 3.5.9)
