Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-10-26 15:00:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I worry more and more what KMail is doing with my mail (but maybe it is a bug only with OS 10.3).

One day I noticed that instead of sorting by date of arrival KMail put all mail with attachments at the end (and sorts them by DoA) and at the beginning the rest (and also sorted by DoA). But I wanted to sort them by one field.

Today I've read several messages, quit Kmail, after an hour I ran it again, some of those messages were back "unread".

And now when I am writing this report all mail have "??" marks -- all those mail were already scanned so it is clear if they have attachment or not.

Hi,

Is this still a problem for you in KDE 4?

If so, can you please tell us what protocol you're using to connect to your mail server (e.g. POP, IMAP or Disconnected IMAP)?

Thanks,
Josh
