Description Nikita Skovoroda 2007-10-25 07:14:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.94.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Almost all of the games have different set of menus, actions, different place for difficulty, even different notifications.

The best way, imho, is like in kmines 4, but the end game notification fades out to fast, maybe leave it there untill clicked? And why not start new game on the click on the game field, when the game is finished?

And a small status bar kmines bug: if the game window is shrinked so "Mines 0/n Time 00:00" will turn into "Min Ti00", and then screched back, then it will get to normal only when this line have 50% more space then it's length. While it is shrinked from normal, it is ok, the problem appears only when scretching from shrinked variant.

Ksquares need a better way of indicating whose turn it is now, like use the semi-transpatent red/blue color for the new line, instead of yellow.

"Oxygen white" theme for kpatience looks far more better then "oxygen", and better fitting into the default style.

Please submit the KMines, KSquares and KPatience bugs to the appropriate products.

Could this be interesting for the HIG team?

Adding Matt and the usability team, don't hold your breath though

As someone said already the bug is too big to do anything with. This is a meta bug of 10 different things.

All bugs have to be closable, otherwise you can't track any progress. This can't be closed whilst any game has even a slight inconsistency, but as a developer I have no idea what parts are still inconsistent and which not. This is why it appears nothing has happened in 4 years, which isn't a valid representation.

Please open any existing issues as new specific bugs on the product in question, and stick to one focussed issue per report.

Marking as invalid.
