Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Hello After an upgrade feisty-> Gutsy, Digikam do not start anymaore. I get the following message : digikam: symbol lookup error: digikam: undefined symbol: _ZN7Digikam12AlbumManagerC1Ev Does anybody know what it means? Thank you Regards
Achim, the shared library libdigikam.la is no updated or something like that with digiKam package... Arnaud, This bug do not depand of digiKam. It's a packaging problem... Gilles
Hello, I am sorry to insist but it is not so clear for me that it is a packaging problem. Indeed, I compiled successfully the 0.9.2 version from source and I still have the problem. Do you have ant idea? Thanks a lot for your support! Best regards Arnaud
Are you installed both version at the same time. libdigikam.la is a private library, not a shared. Only one must be installed on your computer. Are you sure than the library is installed at the right place ? Gilles
Hi Arnaud, can you send the output of which digikam dpkg -l \*digikam\* ldd /usr/bin/digikam
