Version: 3.5.8 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Unspecified Linux Compiler: GCC 4.2.2 OS: Linux Hi, I'm using Quanta with great pleasure for PHP web developing, and there's only one thing that would improve my productivity. As you know, any PHP project also contains other languages, most notably HTML, CSS and javascript. Ok, so the problem I find is this: For PHP I like to use the S&S C Style indentation. It does exactly what I want when I'm programming in PHP. However, that indentation works bad with the rest of the languages, so when I'm working on templates and stylesheets I have to use the "normal" indentation. So what I have to do right now is to set a default indentation type for the editor (for example S&S C Style) and then every time I open an HTML or CSS file go to Tools>Indentation>Normal. And having to do this every time I open such file is not ideal for productivity. Would it be possible to set for example the "normal" indentation as default but still bind the S&S C Style indentation to PHP language? That is, all the code would use the normal indentation except the one between PHP tags (<?PHP ... ?>). Maybe people developing in Python or Perl might also find this problem, I don't know, so what I really wish is that you could bind a certain type of indentation to a certain language, and leave the rest with the default one. Thanks!
Dear users, the Quanta application ceased to exist over 5 years ago. For some of the use cases of Quanta there are nowadays KDevPlatform plugins available (like PHP/Python/... language support plugins). Therefore the old Quanta bugs will now be closed, the Quanta bugzilla product is already closed for new reports. Greetings Christoph
