Description Danas 2007-10-18 15:16:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Maybe it is wishlist, not a bug.

I use laptop for my daily work. In Kontact I have some egroupware shared resources: shared address book and connection to remote calendar. Often I'm offline (e.g working at home, or somethere out of office)

So, when laptop is offline korganizer shows error messages: "unable to read resource". And I need to click 'OK' each 10 min. So it is little disturbing. I'know I can change reloading time of remote calendar, now i'm doing so.

It will be nice to have offline-profile for korganizer, or somehow to fix this problem of pop-up errors, then laptop is offline.

I'm having the same problem here, though using the "calendar in remote file" resource.

Additionally, it doesn't matter to what time I set the automatic reload. Even if I set it to "never", each time I start KDE and each time I start Kontact I have to confirm that the host could not be found (once for each resource). This is extremely annoying.

Confirmed for 3.5.8 and 3.5.9.

Considering that the automatic reload setting is completely ignored, this should probably be filed as a bug, not a wish ...
