Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs OS: Linux When I plug my camera in it is recognised and digikam screen pops up after one or two seconde a screen says camera not recognised message says Failed to connect to the camera. Please make sure it is connected properly and turned on. Would you like to try again? So I unplug and replug same thing I would expect pix to present for download Camers works perfectly with Mandriva spring KDE 3.5.6 and digikam 0.9.1
David This problem depand of libgphoto2 not digiKam... Gilles Caulier
David, Camera drivers are provided by libgphoto2, especially for proprietary and PTP protocol. digiKam do not have drivers, excepted the UMS interface. For Canon camera UMS (USB Mass Storage) is never used. I recommend you to check libgphoto2 package installed and update it. Gilles
David, does it work with current versions of digikam and (in particular) libgphoto? If yes, we could close this bug. Best, Arnd
Yes works with updates Close bug David Wallis Arnd Baecker wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
