Version:           Kmail 1.9.6, enterprise 20070904.708012 with KDE 3.5.7 release 72 from OpenSuse 10.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When reading email, and an attempt is made to change folders, sometimes KMail freezes.The highlight changes in the 
navigation column, but the messages don't reflect that column. If I then select another folder, I can return to the one I clicked on previously, and this time it will work normally. (When this occurs, the highlighted folder changes, but the messages in the display don't.)
