Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux In many imageplugins is section for configuration of help lines. It is redundant and should be put somewhere in configuration dialog. White-red dashed lines are really distinguishable and there is no need to place it everywhere.
Is this still valid? I can't find a filter that uses such settings...
0.9. Perspective adjustment, Free rotation, Shear, Lens distortion, The same for 0.10 Also this config option could be used for splitting lines in all plugins with Previously/After display. Personally I'd like to see something less aggressive.
Yes, right... I checked the wrong plugins before... :-) I think this should really be moved into the main config dialog and could also be used for the "before and after" views... in general I think red and white is a good solution anyway, but when working with rotation for example it can be better to be able to change the color (maybe the rotated image is red). But the drawback will be that if you want to rotate an image where you are not able to see the helper lines, you have to close the filter and enter the settings page. Hmm how should this be handled correctly? Like a said before... I think we need to redesign the filters dialogs... I often need a zoom function in the rotate filter... Andi
