Description Christian Boltz 2007-09-13 20:41:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The "waiting for media" dialog in K3b does not close automatically when I insert the burned CD for verification.

How to reproduce:
- use a system that can not automatically close the CD tray
  (typically a laptop)
- run K3b, burn a CD, make sure that "data verification
  after burning" is enabled
- wait until the CD is ejected
- close the CD tray

Actual result:
- the "waiting for media" dialog stays open and displays
  "found media: complete CD-Rom medium"
- clicking "Laden" (load) does nothing
- clicking "Erzwingen" (force) closes the dialog and starts
  the verification

Expected result:
- if the next step is data verification, a complete CD-Rom
  should be accepted
- the "waiting for media" dialog closes automatically (as it
does when inserting an empty CD)

Hmm, I can't reproduce this bug with openSUSE 10.3 RC1 - it seems someone has fixed it in between :-)

Closing as fixed.
