Description Nicolas Dumoulin 2007-09-11 11:00:37 UTC
Version: 0.12.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It would be usefull to be able to associate a charset encoding with a contact, especially for IRC channel.

I have IRC channel stored as contact in kopete, and when I open them, if the encoding charset isn't my default (unicode), I should set it by the menu "IRC -> Encoding".

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
