Description Alex Dănilă 2007-09-08 21:51:50 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-5-k7

The clipboard is broken (ctrl+c & ctrl+v, not the xorg middle click paste).
I select some text and copy it (guess this is not only a text problem). After closing the program from which I selected the text and I am not able to paste anymore
I am sure this is a known thing, but I didn't find a bug with google.

I cannot modify this, but this also happens for KDE 4.
Please assign it to KDE 4 too, because I don't see any way than opening a new bug.

This is an xorg problem, that's what further research show.
I didn't notice until now, but with Klipper started I cannot reproduce this (at least with the Klipper from KDE 4).
