Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: SuSE RPMs (Initially reported as https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=282708) KGpg seems to have a limit on how many signatures and subkeys it shows for a key. The result of this is that subkeys are not visible in KGpg if a key has lots of signatures. How to reproduce: 1. Import the following key into your keyring (using gpg or KGpg): (@ replaced by * for spam protection) pub 1024D/AC583520 2004-05-18 uid Holger Levsen <holger*layer-acht.org> uid Holger Levsen <holger*layer-acht.de> uid Holger Levsen <debian*layer-acht.org> uid Holger Levsen <debian*layer-acht.de> uid Holger Levsen <holger*debian.org> sub 4096g/31446835 2004-05-18 2. open KGpg, select the key 3. click on the "+" sign in front of the key to display signatures and subkeys Expected result: all signatures and all the subkeys listed above are shown Actual result: Lots of, but not all, signatures and none of the subkeys is shown. BTW: Holger seems to like keysigning parties: # gpg --list-sigs levsen |wc -l 1447
Ehm, do I have to count all of them? In KDE4 it seems to list all. Can you tell me which ones are missing in the list for you?
See the "Actual result" section: no subkeys shown. So if you see all subkeys (main key + 4 subkeys, see list above) and "lots of" signatures at each subkey, just consider this bug fixed. No need to count all signatures exactly ;-)
I guess you mean user ids, not subkeys. Indeed there are only 3 of them shown in KGpg 1.2.2 (KDE 3.5.7), but all 4 in KGpg 1.7.1 (KDE4beta2). Closed by reporters suggestion.
