Version:           0.12.5 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.7-1ubuntu14)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-10-generic

My webcam (ID 04f2:b008 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd) does not work with kopete, but does with amsn.
Instead, when I try to configure it, only a green screen is displayed.

When running kopete from a shell, I got :

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 171

where "Aucun périphérique de ce type" means something like "no such device type"

Same for me in Vega USB 2.0 cam in samsung R70 laptop..

But they claims that this is fixed in latest 3.5, but I have 3.5.7 (latest) and still not working.

I may be missing something but bug 149359 is absolutely not related to mine (kopete vs. kate).

Is there any mistake within the bug number ???
