It would be nice to have a plugin to recover lost or deleted images from flash devices.  Currently I use testdisk/photorec to do the job, but a plugin for GUI apps would make the process easier and more novice-friendly.  Might it be possible to reuse code/ideas from testdisk?

Sound like an independant tools, outside photo management goal...

This is a non sence to implement a new plugin in this way.
