Description Chris Seufert 2007-08-28 04:17:01 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, Debian Package 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-4 (lenny/sid))
Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.21-1-amd64

From within the javascript dom style.opacity seems to do nothing.

I believe it used to work using khtmlopacity, but that seems to have gone too.

If you want a demo of it, goto any site that uses the scriptaculous library, for fade-in/fade-outs.

Eg.
http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Effect.Opacity

Theres a demo on that page.

Rendering of opacity is not supported in 3.x, but will be in 4.0
