Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Sometimes sending a mail via SMTP fails. The most common cause for this in my experience is that the wrong transport was selected for the location. e.g. Some mails are composed off-line, and sent from the next place you go on-line at. What happens: kmail puts up a window with the SMTP error code, and a "continue / abort" option. What would be better: the window has a "retry with different transport" option where you can choose a different transport. This would be more efficient than what normally happens: you click "Abort", then choose "Send with transport" from the "File" menu.
