Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux I try to look at and save papers on the physic archive (xxx.lanl.gov) on a daily basis. I have been doing this for a few years now, and there are generally about 20 papers per day that I want to save for future reference. I have been doing this by bookmarking the appropriate pages. However, lately whenever I try this, my computer takes about 5 minutes (literally) think about it and finish, before I can usefully do anything else. Does the fact that I have a couple thousand of these bookmarks contribute to the problem, or do I have some RAM-wasting setting in how I save them that I am not aware of?
