Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When you are in trash you can remove (entirely) specific mail. But the action is still named "move to trash" like you were in the "normal" folder.

PS. Does direct-removing mail from trash exactly like moving mail to trash was intended feature?

I can not reproduce.
For me, the trash has only a "Delete" entry in its context menu, while other folders have "Move to Trash".

Me neither.

If I RMB menu over the trash folder, I see "Empty Trash".

When I RMB menu over a message in the trash folder, I see "Delete"

Which seems correct to me.

Allen, Thomas, I am sorry -- go to regular menu.
So, folder: trash.

Menu -> Edit -> Move to Trash. 

But when you refer to the popup menu -- it does not have shortcut assigned, and yet it works. So it is all mixed up a bit.
