Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: SuSE RPMs When you compare Konsole to other KDE apps one can notice that Konsole settings are organized in a bit odd way. Each entry scattered in settings menu + extra entry for settings it as default. I think it is more convenient to have all those in one settings dialog, with buttons [ ok ] and [ apply ], so you can configure all in one place. Plus extra functions places there -- setting as default, saving-as.
Fixed in KDE 4. Everything can be changed from one dialog. There are still menu entries for settings which it is useful to be able to make temporary changes to, such as font size, encoding and scrollback size.
