Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Enabling "Do not show user specified rich text" breaks History-Plugin (old messages won't be greyed out) and KopeTeX-Plugin (will not work at all). This is highly annoying.
There should be an option to strip incoming messages of formatting but still allow programatically set rich text.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
