Description Robert McKenzie 2007-07-19 18:25:51 UTC
Version: 1.4.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
OS: FreeBSD

The symbol that comes up when you hold the mouse pointer over Argon is the same one as for the radioactive elements but when you hold it over Uranium, all you get is a glass vial rather than the indication that is is radioactive.

You mean in kalzium, right?
Comment 2 Robert McKenzie 2007-07-21 01:15:42 UTC
Philip,

Sorry if I did not put in enough information, but yes, that is what I
found the other night.

Regards,
Robert McKenzie.

That symbol does not stand for radioactive, but for "atom". It is just replaced by concrete photographs where possible.
Comment 4 Robert McKenzie 2008-06-05 14:36:09 UTC
Eckhart,

Thank you very much for the email, it would help if the symbols used
where pictures where not available could be on the same page to avoid
such confusion in the future.

The explanation is none the less very much appreciated.

Regards,
Robert McKenzie.
