Description AnThOnY hO 2007-07-16 11:29:09 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, Gentoo)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-cfs-v19

Konqueror under none display hiden file status,Change a file to have a dot begin file will crash and quit.(like change krename.pdf to .krename.pdf).
But under display hiden file status it will work correct.
And under display hiden file status, toggle this option(I mean tell Konqueror not to show hiden file),then change a file to hiden file work correct.

I also have this problem.
If I disable the "display the hiden files" option and rename a file with a dot at the front of the filename, konqueror will crash.
If I enable the "display the hiden files" option and rename a file with a dot at the front of the filename, then, konqueror won't crash.

version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, MagicLinux 2.1 beta0)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (MagicLinux 3.4.6-2mgc)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20.11-smp
