Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources If there's a way to turn off the annoying you-did-something sounds in KOrganizer, it's well hidden (design bug). If there's no way to turn off the sound, that's much worse.
I don't understand what you mean, please clarify a bit more.
When I delete an item, KO plays a chord. Why? It's annoying. Any other sounds should be configurable or silenceable. (Reminder sounds are good.)

However, that's nothing KOrganizer-specific, but rather a global KDE setting: Whenever a message box is brought up in any application, that sound is played.
