Version:           1.6.6 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-16-generic

Opening a new session of konsole it's all ok, but if i open a new tab i don't see the same setting of the first tab previously saved

How are you saving the settings?

The basic procedure is:

1.  Start Konsole
2.  Make changes using the Settings menu.
3.  Select Settings -> Save as Default
4.  Create a new tab and those settings should be used.

This is not intuitive I accept, and it has been changed for the next major KDE release.

Hi Robert,
I have save default settings on previous use of konsole.
Opening Konsole, for first tab is all ok (it's showed the transparent background saved previously), but opening another tab there is a black background.

Fixed in KDE 4.  Terminal settings has been overhauled.
