Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Since the KDE 3.5.7's update, I have lots of error messages in kmail when it's running, probably one error message by folder : Impossible de lire le dossier « Spam » sur le serveur : Retrieving the quota root information on folder imap://useremail%40domain.com@imap.1and1.fr:143/Messages envoyés/ failed. The server returned: Fatal error: too many errors. If I quit kmail, new error messages still appears, I have to kill kmail processes to stop them. On the linux-club.de forum (http://www.linux-club.de/ftopic79931.html) and the ubuntu-fr forum (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=945278#p945278), I saw 2 other users having this problem, and they seems to say that it's due to space in folders names. The majority of my folders contains space in their names, so, I haven't test to rename all of them for seeing if it's true.
>The majority of my folders contains space in their names, so, I haven't test to rename all of them for seeing if it's true. The thread in the german forum you linked too says that the problem went away after removing the spaces. So you probably should try that as a workaround.
Did this problem go away using Thomas' suggestion? Or did a later update fix the problem altogether?
In a short test mit whitespaces in IMAP folders I had no problems in KDE 4.3
