if You need more comments let me know but to reproduce I just click on a metacontact and do "delete" and nothing happens

Which protocols were for that contact, and which one did you try to delete. Is it reproducible? Can you see any errors on the console or in ~/.xsession-errors when you try to delete a meta contact?
