Description JoeyrS 2007-07-04 12:14:25 UTC
Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: gcc version 4.2.0 20070627 (prerelease)
OS: Linux

I tried to join a channel called #°_° but Konversation shows it as empty but there was some people in that channel. Others irc clients works fine like mIRC, X-Chat have the same problem.

Hmm I wonder if this is an encoding problem... have you tried changing the encoding to latin1 (iso-8859-1)?
Comment 2 JoeyrS 2007-07-09 15:08:57 UTC
Yes, you right. It's not a bug but an encoding problem. I suppose mIRC works only with iso-8859-1 while in Konversation you can choose the character encoding, infact with 8859-1 works fine.
