Description Frank Niethardt 2007-06-24 22:25:18 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I use kmail with dimap and lot of folders. As kmail still doesn't support IMAP IDLE I set an interval for mail checking to 5 minutes. Now kmail checks every 5 minutes for new mail.

In some rare cases kmail starts a new mail download cycle right after finishing the old one because the first cycle took 5 minutes and longer.

I suggest kmail should start with the countdown after the download cycle has finished. I think every other email client does so..

Looking at the code suggests this is already fixed on a per-account basis. Not sure if it hasn't always been like that.

Think this is fixed, too. Please report if not.
