Description Christian Esken 2007-06-23 12:21:15 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-default

I'd like to be able to search for all Tasks that are stored in multiple mail folders.

Extended description:
---------------------
You can mark messages as "Task" (German: "Aufgabe"). It then gets a notepad as state icon. This works. OK
In the main window you can filter on this state. This works. OK

If I want to see all of my tasks in all folders, I would need to do a search. KMail offers to search for most states, but not for the state "Task". In my usage scenario, using the "Task" state is near-useless.

BTW: If the "mark as Task" would integrate with Kontact (create a "real" Task there), this would be even greater (this is just a hint; it is not part of my wish).

This works fine for me in KMail 1.9.7. "Todo" is the last entry of the "<status>" combobox. Did you overlook it maybe? Or does upgrading to KMail 1.9.7 help?

BTW, it is "todo" in the english version, not "tasks".

There is already a wishlist entry for that on b.k.o, either under Kontact or KMail, I'm not sure.

Ouch. It is already there in my reported KMail version 1.9.5. I must have been completely blind, because I have missed to see the scrollbar. I feel quite embarrased now. I'll close this bug report now.
Thanks for taking the time, Thomas.
