Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs When I add a New Event the window is too large and runs off the end off the side of the screen, normally I can just see the OK button but not the cancel (workaround is to hit ESC key). My screen geometry is 1600x1200; xwininfo reports the window being drawn much larger:- xwininfo: Window id: 0x4801a07 "New Event - KOrganizer" Absolute upper-left X: 8 Absolute upper-left Y: 290 Relative upper-left X: 8 Relative upper-left Y: 290 Width: 1812 Height: 480 Depth: 24 Visual Class: TrueColor Border width: 0 Class: InputOutput Colormap: 0x20 (installed) Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Backing Store State: NotUseful Save Under State: no Map State: IsViewable Override Redirect State: no Corners: +8+290 --220+290 --220-430 +8-430 -geometry 1812x480+8+290
I also have this problem occurring. Running Gutsy with resolution 1600x1200 with release 3.5.8. xwininfo: Window id: 0x4000b3a "New Event - Kontact" Absolute upper-left X: 24 Absolute upper-left Y: 636 Relative upper-left X: 24 Relative upper-left Y: 636 Width: 1812 Height: 536 Depth: 24 Visual Class: TrueColor Border width: 0 Class: InputOutput Colormap: 0x20 (installed) Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Backing Store State: NotUseful Save Under State: no Map State: IsViewable Override Redirect State: no Corners: +24+636 --236+636 --236-28 +24-28 -geometry 1812x536+24-28
We have new event editor now. It's much smaller.
