Hello dev team,

it would be very nice to have a junk filter like the ones in Evolution or Thunderbird.
Automatic learning by marking mail as junk.  

I'd be very happy about a solution like this.   
Adding for every kind of spam a new filter annoys me.  I'm managing about 30 filter rules now.  And its not getting better.

This is already supported.
Install spamassassin or bogofilter or the like, then use the anti spam wizard under Tools->Anti-Spam Wizard
