Description Mister Woody 2007-06-01 07:22:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

My system is Konqueror64 with Flash32.
Flash works fine most of the time. But it doesn't work on Google Maps with Street Viewer.
This is an example:
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&om=0&layer=c&cbll=37.420894,-122.084098&cbp=1,356.927512057877,0.501172314593583,0&ll=37.424826,-122.084391&spn=0.007685,0.020084&t=h&z=16

I asked around and it seems to be a common problem.

1. yes, i confirm

true with MDV 2007 and konqueror 3.5.7 and flash player 9.0.31

it seems this is a khtml, javascript and flash player problem

2.
Also akregator+khmtml kpart+flashplayer have a problem to launch the animation of pages of http://www.arteradio.com/makeRSS.do. It works well when directly accessing with konqueror to one page for example
 http://www.arteradio.com/son.html?24231

3. another site page with same problem

addendum to comment #1

32 bits version for all

This works in svn branch, ~4.0.3
I suspect it works in 3.5.9 as well, as various flash improvements were added/backported.

If you have problems in a recent version, please reopen and specify kde version, flash version (type about:plugins in the url bar to get), and if you are 32bit or 64bit.

Thanks!
