Description matt 2007-05-30 17:00:10 UTC
Version: 1.2.4 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

Using icalx.com, I configure Kontact to maintain a remote calendar, storing the calendar on a url like the following:

http://username:password@www.icalx.com/private/username/mycal.ics

I can pull the remote calendar, but saving always fails.

Running a packet capture shows that the upload succeeds, then the icalx server responds with a "201 Created" message and continues to send back some of the calendar. Kontact then responds with a RST and the calendar is not updated on icalx. I then get a "Failed to Save" message from Kontact.

Reassigning to KOrganizer.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
