Version: 0.12.5 (using KDE 3.5.7, Arch Linux) Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.21-ARCH If I use a dark colored theme for KDE (my backgrounds [not wallpaper] are nearly black, and my text white) Kopete can have cursor visibility issues. When I message using AIM (Not MSN, mind you) the vertical typing cursor disappears (turns white, like it should according to my color scheme) because Kopete is forcing the text input box to have a white background. This is rather frustrating when editing typoes as I would rather not have to use my mouse, and I'm not good at counting how many characters I've moved back. I know this is theme related.. but Kopete should respect my theme in that way, or at least not do it halfway and produce annoying side effects.

Under 4.1RC1 the text input box is adjusting to correctly to the color scheme. So the problem seems to be fixed.
I set the KDE color scheme to "Obsidian Coast" which is mostly black, and can confirm that the text input box now is black, with a white cursor, like it should be. KDE and kopete are svn trunk 835840.
Cursor is invisible. Version 1.1.0 Using KDE Development Platform 4.7.00 (4.7.0) Theme bespin.
