Version: 0.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.1) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.27-0.9-default the printer does print a test page, but all letters and pictures come twice. One of the images is shifted down a little bit so it is almost impossible to read a text.
I doubt such a problem can be created by KDEPrint. Please test your printer for proper functioning: - print the test page from the printer's menu (and not from a computer) -- see your printer's manual for how to make the printer do this; - print from an application that doesn't use KDEPrint (e.g. firefox or OpenOffice) If these tests give correct results, let me know.
Indeed, this looks rather like a problem with the physical print device. (If see things like that happening when printing from *Windows* if the inkjet heads are not properly aligned...)
Edwin, any answer on this? If not, I will close on July 20.
