Description A. Mosteo 2007-05-25 16:44:25 UTC
Version: 0.12.5 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

In ICQ, it is now possible to associate an email account to an UIN. This address can then be used for login instead of the UIN, which is harder to remember.

Currently, when adding an ICQ account, it is not possible to fill the UIN field with anything but numbers. I suggest to rename this field to UIN/email and enable this alternate login method.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
