Version:           0.2 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)

OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

in monitor and screen setting tab enegry savings there is an option to use this or not.

But after disabling and apply the settings the monitor still gets blank after a while.
