Description arne anka 2007-05-23 21:11:40 UTC
Version: 0.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

imo it's rather a bug ...
kprinter desperately needs a way to configure the default file to print to if doing "print to file" or at least it should remember the last used location -- it drives me nuts that always $HOME/print.pdf is set. i usually do _not_ print those files to $HOME but to /tmp/, so i never simply can press "print" but always have to adlust the location which is particulary annoying if you print the same file several times (e g while testing some changes or so) because everytime the loaction is set back to $HOME/print instead of the last used one, which one would expect.

This is a duplicate of bug #116269

Arne,
please do also read the last comment there (it may contain some news for you).

Bug 116269 has assigned a "JJ" (junior job) label to it (but unfortunately it could not attract anybody to add this feature).
