Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-05-23 15:34:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I like KMix starts in the systray if it was there previously, but it would be even more reliable if the user could ensure, that no matter was the previous state, KMix will hide the main window and show only the icon in the systray.
Of course such option does only make sense when the (current naming, reported) "dock into panel" is enabled.

This cannot be guaranteed, as users expect KMix main window to show up when they click the KMix icon in the K-Menu. See bug 58901 for more. I'll mark this here as a dup.

Oh, by the way. KMix in KDE4 has an option "--keepVisibility". It would guarantee what you would like to see (but most users don't want to see this).
