Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian stable Packages Reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=404586 When opening several sites in tabs, clicking a link in one tab might cause the site to spawn a pop-up. If the (admittedly very annoying) passive pop-up notification is turned on, Konqueror will switch back to the tab where the pop-up happened. So if you're reading a certain story on a news site while loading a couple of others, suddenly the tab would switch. I understand the notification has no other way to indicate which site it belongs to but it's very annoying and completely wrong from a usability perspective, since you suddenly lose all context about where you are and have to reorient yourself about a) in which tab you are and b) what tab you were in. Work-around: turn of the annoying notification window. (Icon on bottom right of the window)
