Description Olivier Vitrat 2007-05-18 19:18:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

Reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=128813

If I make a signature which is 80 columns long, kmail should not
second-guess me when I insert it into the file. My signature, as you
can see below, is generated by signify, and kmail word-wraps it (if I
have enabled word-wrapping) when it is inserted. (automatically or
manually)

This problem also appears if I enter a really long signature
directly (rather than reading it from a "file")

Changing to wishlist, as the current behavior is the intended one.
Comment 2 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-08-18 08:34:15 UTC
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 3 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:27:32 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
