Description gallien 2007-05-18 13:28:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When I tried to put a file larger than 4Gb as a video file HD in the data project, I have got the message : "unable to put a file larger than 4Gb".
I have tried in udf mode and i have the same problem.
The problem appears in brasero, graveman but not in nerolinux.
I'm not alone to have this problem (french) : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=112264

K3b svn already allows burning files bigger than 4gb with recent genisoimage versions. AFAIK mkisofs does not support it yet.

Which branch exactly? I'm still getting the error message as pointed out in bug 147903 using K3B 1.0.3 with current genisoimage.

the kde3 branch. It will be in K3b 1.1 since it introduces new strings.
