Description Jacob Beauregard 2007-05-18 04:57:35 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have multiple email account that I download into subfolders of my inbox for each account. I have made subfolders of the same name for each account in my sent-mail and drafts.

When presented with the Destination Folder, it lists ALL of the subfolders I have created, including those in sent-mail and drafts. It also presents them as if they were a subfolder of my inbox, and neglects to show their correct parent folder (sent-mail, drafts).

I would expect them to be presented as subfolders of drafts or sent-mail.

Oh damn, I made this bug's title is a bit ambiguous. Too bad I can't fix that.

I can confirm this.
The subfolders of sent-mail and drafts are displayed as subfolders of some other top-level folder (in my case 'kde').
This is in Settings->Configure KMail->Accounts->Receiving->Modify->Destination folder (for POP3).

Maybe the normal folder select dialog should be used here, which works fine.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
