Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic In the To Do list I can not change or add categories. Maybe because I imported tasks with (for Kontact unknown) categories from Essential PIM (=Windows app) in ics format. I have this problem with existing tasks and also with new tasks.
I had Kubuntu installed on another computer and did not import anything. Same problem. That means, if you select a task and then want to change or add categories. However, I discovered later that one can change and add categories by going to the menu Tools (Instellingen in Dutch)
I think the bug I have is the same: When modifying a task or an event, clicking "select categories" (in the general tab) shows a dialog where I can select existing categories in checkboxes In this dialog, pushing the button "modify the categories" just do nothing. I think it should launch the same dialog as the menu Configuration->Manage Categories. You should remove the button from the dialog, or make it work. Note: my system is kubuntu feisty
This was fixed with the KOrganzier released with KDE 3.5.7
