Description nkayesmith 2007-05-15 10:05:58 UTC
Version: 3.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

KNotes crashed while typing into one, < 30 line note that had existed for approximately 2 hours. This was the only note open at the time. When I restarted KNotes and opened the note, the data entered during the last ~ 10 minutes had disappeared.

Here is a backtrace:

Have you been able to reproduce this once more? If possible could you post text of the note? What was the last character? Where you appending text to the end of note or inserting text somewhere in the middle when this happened?

COMATOSE BUG : Cannot reproduce, no response from reporter to comment #1

If anybody finds a way to reproduces this bug please contact me directly, will implement a timer and/or event based auto-save feature to address the data loss.

On to KDE4 :-)
