Description Mike 2007-05-13 09:28:58 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.2" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.1-default

1 The settings in K-Mail "View" > "Headings">..... don't saving after restart of computer.
2 It is impossible to start K-Mail in the curtailed kind, that's very inconvenient
Comment 1 Bram Schoenmakers 2007-05-13 19:08:17 UTC
I don't really have a clue what you mean with both points. Care to clarify a bit more?
Comment 2 Thomas McGuire 2007-05-13 19:47:18 UTC
Point 1) is about the View->Headers setting not saved between restarts. BTW, this works for me.

Points 2) is where my english fails.
Comment 3 Mike 2007-05-13 20:17:13 UTC
Excuse me for bad English.
1 I meant that when i change settings in K-Mail “View”>”Headers”>from ”Fancy Headers” to ”Brief Headers” it doesn't saving after reboot of computer.

2 It is impossible to start K-Mail with hidden main window that is no quite comfortable. When the operational system loading this window always opened.
Comment 4 Bram Schoenmakers 2007-05-13 21:49:20 UTC
2 is to be solved by changing the KMail shortcut to execute 'kstart --iconify kmail'. So that is not a bug or wish.

Remains 1) if someone else is able to reproduce.
Comment 5 Mike 2007-05-15 20:46:02 UTC
Bram Schoenmakers. thank You very much! Your advice was good and now K-Mail started with hidden main window.

I don't know why but again K-Mail started with open window.
Here that I have made: Internet>K-Mail> Edit item>E-mail>K-Mail>Command:
kstart --iconify kmail -caption "%c" %i %m
but despite of it K-Mail started with open window again.
May be I made something incorrectly?
Comment 7 Bram Schoenmakers 2007-05-15 22:53:38 UTC
Hmm, don't know what could be wrong then. It works here like it should be.
Comment 8 Martin Koller 2009-08-17 21:53:50 UTC
works here with KDE 4.3
