Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Sometimes I have to talk with someone about something special, but if this person is NOT online, I often forget that I wanted to do so. It would be cool to mark a person (offline), and when this person comes online, there is a special notification. For example a special sound and a window which doesn't close if you haven't clicked on it (this is just an example, it would be even cooler if you could adjust this).
IMHO this is already possible by using the context menu of a meta contact Properties->Custom Notifications->(On Event:) A contact has come online Then and there you can configure sounds, messages, and even starting a chat.
Indeed, this is already possible like Jan Ritzerfeld already described.
