Description Julien Narboux 2007-05-09 15:43:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

That would be nice if there could be an option to automatically hide the sidebar and the thumbars in digikam and digikam editor, especially in full screen mode.
Comment 1 Gerhard Kulzer 2007-05-20 20:12:32 UTC
But that is the case already, in full screen mode all sidebars are hidden.
Comment 2 Julien Narboux 2007-05-21 19:21:34 UTC
Sorry, I was not clear, I mean to have the sidebar which are automatically hidden/shows depending on the mouse pointer position. Like it is possible to do it with kde's taskbar.

+1 for WONTFIX - this one works for KDE panel because it is small and more important: doesn't require overflowing of whole interface.

In digiKam constant changing of thumbnail positions would be awful. Could be implemented for menu/toolbar though with it covering small part of images.

MArcel, Andi,

Your viewpoint ?

I won't like this, too.
It will be reall annoying when thumbnail position gets changed all the time. But it could be implemented as an option, if someone really likes this.
Default would be to not autoclose sidebars.

I think it should be only an option and it should cover the thunbnails instead of changing positions.
